The Centre of e-Learning and Innovative Education support for AGH employees and PhD students
The Centre of e-Learning and Innovative Education at AGH University of Krakow offers support both in the technical and didactic fields, especially in the implementation of remote classes. Even in times beyond the pandemic, we are here to support you in your e-Learning projects.
UPeL platform
The platform offers many possibilities for engaging students. It can facilitate your work in many ways, e.g., by improving the process of collecting final papers or conducting online tests. Integration with the Virtual University means that every AGH student and employee has an automatically assigned UPeL account, all you need to do is activate it at your home faculty.
An integral element of UPeL is a Virtual Class plug (ClickMeeting), a very convenient tool for conducting webinars and online meetings. Here you can find out more about this tool.
Additionally, on our website you will find our constantly expanded Tutorials Database, which covers various issues connected to the UPeL platform.
MS Teams
We also make use of Microsoft Teams, which is administered by Centrum Rozwiązań Informatycznych (CRI AGH), and we offer instructions on how to get started using this tool. If you want to know how to make the most of MS Teams please apply for MS Teams – od amatora do gladiatora course.
Additionally, we provide a short guide to these two e-learning systems – Welcome on board! micro-guide – which you can download for your students.
Certification and other trainings and webinars
The formal requirement for the implementation of online classes is obtaining a certificate at the AGH Centre of e-Learning and Innovative Education. This is possible by participating in the e-learning academic certification training. Currently, all groups are booked, so we recommend you put your name on the reserve list.
In addition to the certification training, we also provide a number of other training courses and webinars.
By subscribing to our monthly newsletter, you will be up-to-date on all our initiatives for AGH University of Krakow employees and PhD students.
